Ride along opportunity

I had the privilege of doing a ride-along with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, and it was an experience I won’t forget. Seeing firsthand the dedication, professionalism, and challenges our deputies face every single day gave me an even deeper respect for their service to our community.

Public safety is more than a policy discussion—it’s the people behind the badge who show up every day to protect and serve. I’m grateful for the opportunity to spend time learning directly from those on the front lines.
